For a bridal gown, I'd probably still go with your usual size based on their chart, but also be prepared for minor alterations. Most wedding dresses need a tweak anyway, even if the base size is spot on.

I'd say V. Chapman feels a bit more luxe and structured than FLL, especially with the corsetry. Selkie is more whimsical, V. Chapman is more 'grown-up romantic' if that makes sense.

Quality-wise, I think V. Chapman is a step up from FLL, sometimes even Needle & Thread for certain pieces. The fabrics often feel richer and the construction is solid. You're definitely paying for that higher-end feel.
